Sculptor Wang Yong
Wang Yong was born in Jinan, Shandong in 1962. He graduated from the Shandong Academy of Art in 1989. He is now a sculpture researcher at the Shandong Exhibition Hall Of The Chinese Commulist Party Historyrch. He had held his Modern Sculpture Exhibition in Chinese Art Gallary in Beijing in Dec. 1993. His works named "body" and "rest" were collected by the gallary. His "angle with a single wing" joined the 8th national art exhibition in 1994. He designed and made a large square stone carving named Music Movement in front of the Power Company Plaza in Jinan in 1994-1995. In 1995-1996, He designed and made a large stone carving group for Jinan TV station, which include Pastoral Song, The Form Of A Bird, An Peeping Ox, and Angle with a Single Wing. He held a personal exhibition of Modern Sculpture in the coast of the Strait of Gibraltar under the invition of the Britain government in Sep. 1996. His works, "A boat-Rowing Woman", "Embracing", "Wind From The Mediterranean Sea" were collected by the local Museum. He designed and made a touching stone carving for Jinan School of Blind Children. They were named "Symbol of the History", "Crystal of The Knowedge" in 1997. He joined the Chinese Exhibition of Art orgonized by Chinese Cultural Ministry in 1997.
