Painter Zhou Jing
Ms. Zhou Jing, the patent inventer of Double-Sides Silk Painting , was born in Jinan , Shandong . She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Shandong Teachers' University, and is a professional painter at the Jinan Painting Studio. She is also a member of the Chinese Artists' Association and the Chinese Fine Brush Painters' Association. Ms. Zhou invented Two-Side Silk Painting in 1991 and applied a national 1st-grade invention Patent (No.91106388.9) and two foreign design Patents (No.91303170.4 and 91301171.2 ). They were recorded in " The British Index To The World Patents" , She was aworded Advanced Prize of Culture & Scierce of Shandong Province . The Two-side Silk Paiting is a new-style Chinese Painting drawing on silk and can be seen on both front and back sides. It transforms the traditional plane (one side )Chinese Painting to stereoscopic (two-side )painting. The new style creates an uniqne , obscure sense of beauty under sunshine and lamp lighting . It's fixed in stereoscopic frame and can be made into screen, separator, fan-screen, hanging screen, and many other usages. Mr. Pan Jie Zi, a contemporary brush painter compared the two-side silk painting to two-side silk embroidery and spoke highly of Ms. Zhou's contribution to traditional Chinese Painting. Ms.Zhou held personal Exhibition of Fine Brush painting in China Art Gallery in Beijing during April 4 to 9, 1995. The Exhibition of Double-side Silk Paiting by Ms.Zhoujing have been held 4 times in Taiwan during 1992-1996. The Central TV station, Central Broadcasting Station and People's Daily have reported Ms. Zhou and her Double-Side Silk Painting on special programs
