简 介 

泉城广场是山东省会济南的中心广场。她南屏千佛山，北依大明湖，西邻趵突泉，东眺解放阁，似一颗璀璨的明珠，装点着美丽的泉城。广场东西长约780米，南北宽约230米，占地约250亩。自西向东主要组成有：趵突泉广场、济南名士林、泉标广场、下沉广场、颐天园及童乐园、滨河广场、荷花音乐喷泉、四季花园、文化长廊、科技文化中心及银座购物广场等十余部分。这一高情感、高文化的场所，可以满足各阶层、各年龄段的人们的绿地休闲、文化娱乐、商业购物和社交等活动需要。广场自1998年7月开工建设，1999年国庆前夕竣工，是济南市城建史上的最大工程。其设计构思突出了“山、泉、湖、城、河”的泉城特色，又与现代文明相结合，是展示齐鲁文化和经济强省形象的全国一流的跨世纪现代化广场。

泉城广场规划建设简介 

1997年6月15日，省委常委扩大会议明确提出了“力争用五年左右的时间，使济南的城市面貌有一个较大改观，综合经济实力和服务功能明显提高”的要求，并就泉城广场等六个重点项目做出了安排，这在我市城建史上还是第一次，为济南的城市建设提供了难得的发展机遇。以泉城广场建设为代表的一大批省、市重点工程建设，勾画出我市跨世纪发展的宏伟蓝图，引起了全市乃至全省人民的关注。

泉城广场东起南门大街，西至趵突泉南路，南临泺源大街，北依环城公园，东西长780米，南北宽230米，占地面积约250亩。广场位于市中心繁华地带，处于“千佛山—趵突泉—大明湖”这条著名的特色旅游区中心。广场的北部是以芙蓉街为代表的古建筑民居老城区，南部是泺源大街为代表的金融区，西部紧靠趵突泉公园，东部的解放阁记载着济南的沧桑和获得新生的经过。多次轻车简从到广场工地考查的省委书记吴官正一语中的：“在城市中心地带建设一个现代化的广场，把济南的几个特色区域有机地联系在一起，既为城市的未来发展确定了格局，拉动了广场周边市区的快速发展，又为市民提供了一体闲娱乐、陶冶情操的自由空间。”

整个泉城广场自西往东由跑突泉广场、南北名士林、泉标广场、颐天园和童乐园、下沉广场、历史文化广场、滨河广场、荷花音乐喷泉、文化长廊、四季花园、科技文化中心等十余部分组成。其中7万余平方米的硬铺装为市民提供了一个广阔的休闲空间；近10万多平方米的绿地则在市中心地带向市民奉献了一个四季常青的城市花园；文化长廊和改建的科技馆，在向市民提供娱乐、休闲的同时，更可从中体会齐鲁文化的源远流长和博大精深，领略科技是第一生产力的深刻内涵。广场东部是以荷花为造型的音乐喷泉，以40种不同造型的交叉变换向人们展示一个五彩缤纷的世界，而矗立在广场中心位置38米高的主体雕塑《泉》，似三股清泉自“城”中磅礴而出，内涵丰富而直冲云天的挺拔造型，象征着泉城奔向更为辉煌灿烂的未来。

广场的设计构思突出泉城特色与现代文明相结合，展示齐鲁文化和经济强省形象，建设成为全国一流的跨世纪现代化大型广场。为高起点、高创意、高质量地搞好这个设计，我们面向国内外公开征集了规划设计方案。先后收到美国、瑞士等二十多个国家知名设计单位和清华大学等一批国内设计单位的方案共33个。经过群众公开推荐，组织专家评审，方案优化组合和省市领导审查等几个环节，最后确定了现在的这个设计方案。方案突出了园林式、群众性、开放性的特点，是决策民主化、科学化和各方面智慧的结晶。

泉城广场建设投资概算约13亿元（含搬迁补偿7.97亿元），按照规划整体包括地下1.7万平方米的停车场和3万平方米的商业建筑，地上7万平方米的硬铺装，近10万平方米的绿地，还有主体雕塑、音乐喷泉、文化长廊等建筑项目。

为尽快完成广场拆迁工作，市政府专门制定出台了广场拆迁办法，对拆迁补偿做出了明确规定，确保了拆迁工作的顺利进行。拆迁范围内的56个企业事业单位，1769户居民在很短的时间内就完成了拆迁任务，拆迁面积达17.70万多平方米，为施工创造了极为有利的条件和环境。

泉城广场工程自98年7月份开工建设以来，在省委省政府、市委市政府的正确领导下，在省市各部门和社会各界及全市人民的关心支持下，经过3000多名建设者440余天的艰苦奋战，工程于99年9月25日全面竣工，国庆五十周年之际向市民开放。泉城广场的建成并投入使用，是全市人民生活和济南城建史上的大喜事，它必将对济南的物质和精神文明建设，市民生活水平质量的提高产生积极而深远的影响。

Brief Introduction 

The Quancheng Square is the center of Jinan, capital of Shandong Province. To its south of the Thousdand Buddha Moutain. To the north lies the Damming lake. Neighboring both its west and east stand the Baotu Spring and Liberation Pavilion. The Square decorates the beautiful City of Springs as a brilliant pearl. The east-west length of the square is about 780 meters and the south-north width is about 230 meters .The whole square covers an area of about 250 mu (1mu=0.0667ha). From west to east , the square is composed of over ten sections such as the BaotuSpring Square , the Jinan Celebrity Forest, the Spring Symbol Square ,the Subsidence Square, the Age’s Park and the Children’s Paradise, the Riverside Square ,the lotus and Music Fountain ,the All-the-Year-Round Flower Garden, the Culture Gallery , the science and Technology Square center and the Silver Plaza Mall. The emotional and culture area can meet the needs of people of all circles and ages in lawn relaxation , cultural entertainment ,shopping and social communications . Construction of the square was started in July 1998 and it was finished on the eve of the National Day, October 1, in 1999. It is the biggest project in the urban construction history of Jinan. The design of the square stresses on the characteristics of the City of Springs , which are “The Thousand Buddha Mountain , the Springs , the Damming Lake ,the Ancient City Walls and the Yellow River ” combing with the modern civilizations . It is also a modern cross-century square listed in the top rank of the country which exhibits the culture of Shandong and the powerful image of the province in terms of economic strength.

趵突泉广场 

趵突泉广场位于泉城广场的最西端，是结合趵突泉东门向东延伸而形成的广场，是泉城广场西部主要的出入口。此处，庄严的国旗猎猎飘扬，国旗下，“泉城广场”四个大字镶嵌于入口标志上，其背面刻有《泉城广场记》。广场的北部设有和平鸽放养处；趵突泉广场地下建有近5000平方米的停车场，备有120个车位。

到了春夏季节，这里绿草茵茵，凉风习习，给游人一个安静、祥和的休闲空间。五步一画，十步一景，形成了多层次、多功能、多景观的多元空间。

the Baotu Spring Square 

The BaotuSpring Square is located at the very western end of the Quancheng Square , connecting the east entrance of the Baotu Spring Park to form the main entrance of the western section of the Quancheng Square .The four grand charters “Quancheng Guang Chang” (The Quancheng Square ) are inlaid in the entrance symbol are Record of the Quancheng Square . The north side of the square is a dove breeding area . A parking lot of nearly 5,000 square meters is on the underground floor of the Baotu Spring Square with 120 berths.

In spring and autumn , green grass and cool wind here can offer the visitors with a peaceful and comfortable space . Thus a multi-gradation, multi-function and multi-scenic space is formed at the square.

济南名士林 

由趵突泉广场向东走，在南北两侧各有一片高大茂密的树林，这就是济南名士林。林中高大挺拔的银杏树，傲然耸立的雪松，象征着中国悠久历史长河中涌现出的一位位济南名士。林中还建有两处仿古结构的“名士亭”及精巧的石椅、石凳。漫步于名士林中，或许游人能够理解一位位名人的情怀，体会他们所走过的风雨之路。

The Jinan Celebrity Forest 

Walking eastward along the Quancheng Square , you can see a tall and dense forest on the southern side and the northern side respectively . This is the Jinn Celebrity Forest . In the forest, the tall ginkgo trees and the lofty cedars symbolize the countless celebrities appeared in the long history of China .In the forest there are two imitations of the ancient pavilions called the “Celebrity Pavilion” and some stone chairs and stools . Strolling in the forest , perhaps you can share the feeling of the celebrities and their experiences .

泉标广场 

泉标及泉标广场是广场的主要视觉中心。泉标高约38米，取古汉字“泉”字的意象造型。泉标广场地面铺以隐喻城池的图案，“泉”自“城”中磅礴而起。泉标底部地面镶刻着济南72名泉的名称，并配置72股涌泉及四组泉群，动静互补，极大地丰富了泉标的形象及环境艺术魅力。泉是济南的灵魂，泉标就是泉城的点睛之笔。她昭示着泉城淳朴清雅的地方特色和悠久深沉的历史文化。泉标广场由方形及圆形两部分组成，是群众集合活动的场所。

The Spring Symbol Square 

The spring symbol and the Spring Symbol Square are the visual center of the Quancheng Square . The spring symbol is about 38meters high .It is made in accordance with the abstract shape meaning of the seal character (a style of Chinese calligraphy, often used on seals) “Quan”(spring) .The floor of the Spring Symbol Square is covered with patterns standing for the city, which means “spring ” spurting from the “city” .On the bottom ground of the spring symbol, names of 72 famous springs are inlaid and 72 streams of spurting springs and 4 groups of springs are disposed. The mutually complementaries of the active springs and the stable pattern greatly enrich the artistic charm of the spring symbol in terms of both image and environment. Springs are Jinn’s soul, so the spring symbol is as important as a finishing touch added to a painting to the City of Springs, The spring symbol stands for the honest feature of the City of Springs and its time-honored historical culture. The Spring Symbol consists of both the quadrate and the round parts. It is a place for the mass’ assembly activities.

颐天园与童乐园 

颐天园、童乐园是围绕泉城广场的四片自由地。园内分别设置了小路、环椅、花坛等设施。主要栽植垂柳、国槐、合欢等树木，树林中散置自然山石，园中雕塑小品的背景栽植着雪松、油松、桧柏、凤尾兰、黄杨球等常绿树，还栽有百日红、榆叶梅等长春花灌木。古朴、淡泊宁静的颐天园为老年人提供了休养身心的场所；明快、欢畅的童乐园则是孩子们的天地。颐天园、童乐园让你尽享生命的喜悦。

The Aged's Park and the Children's Paradlse 

The Age’s Park and the Children’s Paradise consist of four pieces of free land around the Quancheng SQUARE.In the gardens facilities such as paths, chairs and flower terraces are provided. Trees such as weeping willow, pagoda tree and silk tree are planted.Natural mountain stones are also distributed in the Parks. Around the sculptures in the Parks are evergreen trees such as cedar,, Chinese pine, Chinese juniper, fern leaf hedge bamboo and Chinese little leaf box as well as ever-blossoming shrubs such as flowering plum. The simple and peaceful Aged's Park provides a place for the aged to relax and rest while the active and happy Children's Park is a Paradise for children. Both of the Parks can make you enjoy the happiness of life here.

滨河广场

滨河广场沿南护城河呈带状，是泉城广场内唯一的亲水空间，形成了独具特色的城市步行体系（环城公园游览路线）。除保留原河岸栽植的垂柳外，岸边区设计了花坛、花钵、座椅、石凳。在地下商场北出入口，建筑物上沿部分的种植池内，栽植迎春、常春藤等藤本植物。滨河广场地面铺鹅卵石及彩色地面，小桥流水，亭台水榭，名泉环佩，泉水淙淙，杨柳依依，又现“家家泉水、户户垂杨”的胜景。滨河广场宛如小家碧玉，温婉玉润，带给你江南水乡的清凉。

The Riverside Square 

The Riverside Square presents a belt shape along the south city moat .For the Quancheng Square,this is the only space connecting with the river. It thus forms a unique city walking system (a tourism route along the ring park) with its own characteristics.Besides keeping the original weeping willows,other facilities such as flower terraces,flower bowls,sitting chairs and stone stools are also designed and established along the riverbank.At the Northern entrance to the underground mall,in the growing pond liana such as winter jasmine and evergreenvine are planted.The ground of the Riverside Square is covered with cobbles and color bricks.River under the bridge,pavilions,springs and sweeping willows reproduce the beautiful scenery of “Each household streams spring water and cultivates willows”.
